New Review for Wet & Wild by Cait Braxton

Thank you Jolie Du Pre for the kind words!

Review:

When Black Lace announced that they would no longer publish erotica, some people began to panic. I even read one article that was titled – “Black Lace and Nexus books: Is quality erotica a thing of the past?”

Well, of course not! There's plenty of quality erotica, and you'll find Wet and Wild by Cait Braxton and published by Noble Romance to be one of them. Noble Romance is an e-publisher. Those who are mourning the end of Black Lace should give the many e-publishers that produce erotica, such as Noble Romance, a chance.

Wet and Wild is lesbian erotica, and it is well written, sexy and enjoyable from beginning to end. Rhada, our narrator, is preparing for her rendezvous with Gabrielle, and she holds our attention right away as she describes her anticipation.

"I glance at the wall clock and my heartbeat accelerates. Fifteen minutes before it strikes 5:00 p.m., and then another thirty minutes maneuvering through downtown traffic. Forty-five minutes before I’ll be at Gabrielle’s condo.

Be with her.

The anticipation nearly paralyzes me. I close the file I picked up and return it to the same spot on my desk. There isn’t enough time to work on it, and I couldn’t concentrate on the contents, even if I had an hour to devote to it. To keep my hands and my mind busy, I arrange the clutter on my desk and straighten the pens and pencils, shelving the erotic images flashing behind my eyelids. I’d rather call them forth on the long drive, heighten the tension and prolong the anticipation. I liken it to a child preparing to take a vacation to Disneyland. Half the fun is thinking about the trip before you arrive.

My intention to savor the lurid recollections fails miserably. I feel her hand tangled in my hair, pulling my head back until my throat is exposed to her luscious lips. My core hums with the recollection of her fingers massaging my clit before she spreads the lips of my labia and slides them in. Her intrusion is rough; the way I like it."

If you're looking for an entertaining lesbian erotica that you can devour before bed, Wet and Wild fits the bill. As Lynn Abbey said, "Short-story writing requires an exquisite sense of balance. Novelists, frankly, can get away with more. A novel can have a dull spot or two, because the reader has made a different commitment. "

There are no dull spots in Wet and Wild. Cait Braxton has produced lesbian erotica we can count on.
